We all know peanut butter is as versatile as it gets. It goes in toast and in cookies and with chocolate. I’ve even had and enjoyed a peanut butter and pasta sandwich myself. Here’s yet another innovative use of the condiment for all the peanut butter lovers out there: smoothies! Mild and refreshing, peanut butter smoothies are the ones to make whether it’s summer or not. You don’t need any seasonal fruit, just a banana and a few other kitchen staples. If you freeze your banana coins beforehand, you can also omit the ice!
Want to personalize your peanut butter smoothie? Try adding a tablespoon of cocoa powder to make a chocolate version, substitute all yogurt instead of milk, or tweak the amount of peanut butter you add.
